Neighboring Concepts, in collaboration with LandDesign and Sasaki, are in the process of designing the first recreation center of its kind for Mecklenburg County. Eastway Regional Recreation Center will provide and connect the region to a variety of health, wellness and educational opportunities. The Center’s amenities are to include indoor and outdoor aquatics, sports courts, a fitness center, indoor track, multi-use event rooms, kitchen, arts/culture classrooms, and more. Programs are to be trend focused, innovative and demographic centric to create unique recreational experiences that allow people to connect in a personalized environment.
