The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Arts + Culture’s mission is to present, preserve and promote African American art, culture and history for the education and enjoyment of all. The Gantt Center is located in the heart of uptown Charlotte and includes galleries, multipurpose, education and exhibition facilities that assist the center in being an innovative, multi-disciplinary epicenter that celebrates the triumphant spirit of the African American experience.
