J. Knuckles Science Annex Building Addition + Renovation at Fayetteville State University

projects

The J. Knuckles Science Annex Building at Fayetteville State University was originally built in 1960 as a science laboratory. Neighboring Concepts transformed the facility into a home for the departments for Government and  History. The work incorporated a three-level addition, full interior renovations and code compliant improvements throughout. The three-level addition is comprised of a celebrated two-story lobby with an elevator, monumental stairs and rest room facilities. The addition provides the building with a prominent entrance and an outdoor pedestrian plaza addressing the surrounding neighborhood.
