Daniel McNamee, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Studio Manager
I like the process of generating ideas that blend the owner’s desires with the immediate environmental context. The point at which those ideas clearly become the force by which architectural design is crafted and molded is a very enjoyable moment!

Daniel is a licensed architect and co-studio manager for the Neighboring Concepts team, leading architectural and planning projects. As a 2004 graduate of the College of Architecture + Design at Virginia Tech, he has more than 15 years of hands on experience to share. Having studied abroad in eight European countries, Daniel has developed an appreciation for authentic community development and sustainability, and a particular interest in foreign missions. His professional works encompass a number of educational, recreational and mixed-use residential designs that have come to enrich the communities that they serve.

Daniel is creative by nature and has a true passion for design. He is especially skilled at helping clients realize attractive and efficient building programs that set the course for successful schematic design solutions. Daniel finds particular enjoyment in watching visions come to life as buildings take shape through design and construction drawings.

We appreciate Daniel for his design expertise and natural ability to visualize, capture and produce innovative and effective design solutions.

If I weren’t an architect I’d be . . .
