Lindsey Schmidt

Designer & Intern Architect I
What and if are two very simple words when they stand alone.  Put them together and they have the power change anything

Lindsey Schmidt is a designer at Neighboring Concepts.  She is a 2016 graduate from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design.  Lindsey grew up outside of Philadelphia before becoming a Hokie.  As a student, she studied abroad in Florence for a summer as part of the interior design program.  After college, Lindsey moved to Charlotte to start her career at Neighboring Concepts and is excited about bringing new and innovative ideas to the team.

Lindsey’s favorite aspect about being an interior designer is having the capability to transform how people interact and use different spaces.  Using the surrounding community and culture of the client allows her to dictate how to design for the user of the space.  From space planning to finish selections, it is important to Lindsey to bring the concept of the project full circle.

If I weren’t an interior designer I’d be…
A math teacher.
