Molly Vaughan

Designer

If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.
–Napoleon Hill

Molly Vaughan is a designer at Neighboring Concepts. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Virginia Tech, where she developed a passion for impacting communities through design. During her education, Molly traveled to Pignon, Haiti and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, studying humanitarian architecture through vernacular design. Molly had the opportunity to participate in Virginia Tech’s design/buildLab, where she learned that good design should be accessible to everyone – no matter their income bracket. Molly believes that architecture should have a strong sense of place, and that the best architecture is designed with the community in mind.

Molly came to us from Charleston, SC with a background in Healthcare Architecture, and believes that creating quality spaces are essential to the healing process.

Having visited over 70 cities in 33 countries, Molly is passionate about traveling and learning about different cultures. When she isn’t traveling, you can find Molly working on her 1976 Airstream Sovereign or renovating her own home. She loves working with her head and hands to bring old, dilapidated spaces back to life.

If I weren’t a designer at Neighboring Concepts I’d be….
A surgeon.
