Tessa is an intern architect at Neighboring Concepts. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, with minors in Civil Engineering and Architectural History. While at UVA, Tessa kept herself involved in the community through volunteering. She worked with Habitat for Humanity as a site Crew Leader, and helped to start UVA’s Student Crew Leader Program to give other students that same opportunity. While in school she also volunteered at the Fralin Museum of Art. There she worked as a docent and gave tours to local school groups and visitors of the museum.
Tessa is originally from Florida and loves spending time outdoors. As a former competitive gymnast, she likes to keep herself active with running and occasional yoga. Tessa loves reading and learning new things. Her favorite part about architecture is that there’s always something new to learn.
