About the Role

Our office policy allows for flexibility to work remotely and strongly encourages employees to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. In the role of Project Architect, we’ll count on you to:

• Work collaboratively with the design team and clients on a wide range of projects including multifamily residential, public transportation, commercial office, healthcare, and civic buildings
• Production and/or providing quality control oversight of construction documents, including specifications
• Present to clients the latest design trends to gain feedback to inform design decisions
• Mentorship of younger staff and training the next generation of project architect
• Construction Administration site visits, submittals, and RFIs
• Support our projects that include Urban Design and Public Engagement
• Pay thorough attention to detail
• Work within budget constraints
• Be a creative problem-solver

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in an architecture firm  

  • NCARB certification, LEED AP, CDT, and/or WELL AP preferred, but not required

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, and working experience with SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Organizational and time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects

  • Experience with code research is preferred

  • Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions, (i.e. does not need to be micro-managed to complete tasks)

  • Quick self-starter

  • Not afraid to ask questions and a good team attitude

  • Creativity and problem solving, patience and resiliency

  • Strong communication skills
