Neighboring Concepts provided various services throughout the CATS LYNX System Update process, as a subconsultant to WSP, including public engagement, urban design and visualizations.
Our team helped communities in three counties understand the LYNX transit alternatives and relate how each option would influence their daily lives. The resulting feedback informed and refined the alignment alternatives study and recommendations. Neighboring Concepts served a vital role in the alignment selection process and the subsequent refinements to selected alternatives. Our team provided additional support through targeted topical studies, such as integrating affordable housing and transit and TOD redevelopment opportunities around legacy retail sites.
